When Animals Attack
Most people love dogs, and so do we. But sometimes a dog is abused, poorly trained, trained specifically to attack, or is sick, or so stressed that it lashes out and injures someone.
When a person is injured by another's animal, be it a dog, a bear, a tiger, an alligator, or even a fluffy pet bunny rabbit with rabies, the injured person may be entitled to financial compensation for their pain, medical bills, counseling bills, torn clothing, medications, time missed from work including sick days, and any other damages legally caused by the animal attack. Indeed, one of our more unusual cases involved a woman attacked by a house cat; the woman's hospital bill was over $30,000 for treating the infections caused by the scratches.
If you have been injured by a dog or other animal, please contact us right away as we may be able to help you. There are many potential sources of recovery, for example, perhaps the dog owner has homeowner's or renter's insurance, or perhaps the landlord was negligent in renting to a tenant with a vicious animal.
We would be happy to meet with you for a FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION to discuss any potential claim you have.
